Job Title: Web/IBM i RPG Developer
Best Home Furnishings is seeking a multi-skilled developer. The ideal candidate will have Web and RPG development experience.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain websites.
- Answer user questions regarding websites.
- Trouble shoot and solve website issues.
- Monitor website traffic to ensure acceptable performance.
- Design, develop, and maintain projects/modifications to BPCS ERP.
- Answer user questions regarding BPCS ERP projects/modifications.
- Trouble shoot and solve BPCS ERP issues.
Skills and Qualifications:
· Java, JavaScript, or other object-oriented languages
· JQuery, HTML, HTML5, CSS
· MySQL, or other relational database
· Cross-browser compatibility
· Experience in planning/delivering websites used across multiple organizational units.
· RPG III, RPG IV, or RPG Free experience or willing to learn.
· DDS experience or willing to learn.
· CL experience or willing to learn.
· Able to function in a team environment.
· Detail-oriented
· Able to multitask
· Strong problem solving/trouble shooting skills.
· Effective communication skills
· Self-motivated
· 3 to 5 years’ experience preferred.
