The Atlantic Council is a dynamic organization which has invested steadily in its digital channels over the last few years, building a large and active audience, and plans to invest more in the coming years. We seek a Web Content Manager who will be responsible for improving and maintaining the organization’s website to meet business goals. This person will lead the execution of internal and external day-to-day web initiatives, ensuring that all content is updated, accurate, and in alignment with the Council’s brand standards.
Reporting to the Deputy Director, Digital Marketing, the Web Content Manager will be responsible for maintaining the Atlantic Council’s website, including managing SEO optimization plus third-party tools for integration and monitoring. Duties will include sharing content to raise brand awareness and monitoring web traffic and metrics to identify best practices. This individual will work with marketing strategists, web developers, and internal communication teams to measure content effectiveness (usage, adoption, and reach), brand awareness, lead generation, customer loyalty, and user engagement.
The ideal candidate is a marketing and communications professional with an aptitude for digital tools and strategies, and a history of successful website project management.
This is a temporary-to-permanent role on a hybrid schedule (4 days per week in office) in our Washington, DC office. Pay is commensurate with experience, education, and organizational equity, with offers from $45 to $65 per hour. This role is not eligible for benefits. At six months of employment, a full-time offer may be extended should work performance and deliverables align with expectations.
