Primary Job Purpose :
The Web Production Specialist II is part of a multi-disciplinary Marketing team, the Web Production Specialist plays a support role in creating web experiences for a variety of audiences.
This role is responsible for the day-to-day updating and maintenance of the organization’s websites and manages content from multiple internal departments.
This person may also manage projects as assigned.
Responsibilities :
Manage content from a variety of sources and coordinate with cross-functional teams to publish content.
Execute quality assurance on all content prior to publication.
Format content, edit copy, update existing content, and publish to the web using a CMS.
Educate content partners on web-based tools and processes through verbal and written communications.
Establish, maintain and enforce daily, weekly, and monthly web content production schedules, working closely with other members of the content team.
Work with various stakeholders to ensure that website content meet both business and user needs.
Manage projects as assigned including project scoping, web page creation, updated navigation, integration and QA testing, etc.).
Ensure content meets brand and regulatory requirements.
Manage web request queue, and website feedback.
Seeks out and incorporates customer feedback.
Function as subject matter experts and manage product plan updates (i.e. Medicare, Medigap) to ensure state and federal regulatory requirements are met.
Ensure collateral is updated to reflect any changes (i.e. rate changes, deductibles, etc.) and stakeholders are informed.
Locates, negotiates and actively pursues value-add content.
Accessibility monitoring, compliance reporting, and related training for collateral teams.
Prioritization of requests from work intake process and ensuring alignment with product strategies.
Departs from traditional approaches to develop solutions.
Strong knowledge of all Digital Solutions website properties.
Minimum Requirements :
Experience managing content production in the website, mobile app, and digital media work spaces.
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
Demonstrated proficiency with HTML and Microsoft Office applications.
Familiarity with AP Style.
Familiarity with modern design principals and importance of corporate branding standards.
Ability to manage multiple projects at once while remaining organized and flexible.
Demonstrated analytical ability to identify problems, develop solutions and implement a chosen course of action.
Ability to interface with Stakeholders to locate and pursue content.
Experience with seeking out and incorporating customer feedback.
High degree of specialized knowledge in Medicare requirements and MediGap state regulations (ID, WA, UT, OR).
High degree of specialized knowledge in Accessibility compliance for digital properties.
Ability to manage complex, cross-company projects.
Self-motivated, self-tasking, and requiring a low level of supervision.
Ability to train and mentor others in Enterprise-wide initiatives.
Proven ability to negotiate and develop content.
Web Production Specialist II would have a Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field and at least 6 years of experience in website content production and at least 2 years of experience implementing web content using a content management system (CMS) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
