Job Title: Wedding and Event coordinator

Location: 4922 Canal St., New Orleans, LA

Compensation: $2000 per month base pay plus commission package

Job Description: Flowers by John Kent is on the lookout for a vibrant and passionate individual with a minimum of two years of flower design experience to join our team as a Wedding and Party Assistant. We are seeking a highly motivated and sales-driven candidate who is enthusiastic about creating unforgettable experiences for our clients through stunning floral arrangements and outstanding sales strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with clients to understand their event requirements and preferences

• Design and craft exceptional floral arrangements for weddings and parties

• Drive sales efforts by effectively promoting our services and securing event bookings

• Prepare and present customized event proposals to clients

• Coordinate seamlessly with vendors and staff to ensure successful event execution

Qualifications:

• Minimum of two years of flower design experience

• Proven track record in sales and customer service

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

• Stay updated on current trends in event planning and floral design

Additional Qualities:

• Attention to detail and creativity in floral design

• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively

• Flexibility to work on weekends and evenings as needed

• Positive attitude and a passion for creating memorable events
