Welder jobs in Medford, OR
Welder joins, fabricates, and repairs metal and other weldable material by applying appropriate welding techniques. Interprets blueprints, specifications, diagrams or schematics to determine appropriate welding process. Being a Welder inspects completed welds to determine structural soundness. Familiar with and complies with all safety requirements and protocols for working in a hazardous environment. Additionally, Welder may prepare the materials and set up for a welding device or robot. May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Welder works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Local company is looking for an experienced Welder / Fabricator to help fabricate replacement parts for company machinery!

Welder / Fabricator Details :
- Temp-to-Hire position
- $ to $ / hour
- Full Time work available
- First Shift (Monday through Thursday from 06 : 00am to 04 : 30pm)
- Weld & Fabricate parts for machines
- Tack weld projects using blueprints
- Assist with other fabrication duties as assigned
Welder / Fabricator Qualifications :
- Must have own safety gear (hood, gloves, apron, etc)
- Both MIG & TIG welding experience
- 1,000 hours of on the job experience preferred
- Must be able to pass a weld test as part of the interview process
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
