POSITION SUMMARY:
This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. Provide general fitness knowledge and individual guidance in a safe, enjoyable, and positive environment that promotes member wellness and engagement in accordance with policies and procedures of the YMCA. Part-time position, with shifts ranging from 4:45AM to 9:00PM.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least one year experience training, coaching, or leading group fitness is preferred.
- Certifications that must be obtained and maintained within first 90 days: CPR, AED, First Aid, Child Abuse Prevention, Blood borne Pathogens, Hazard Communication.
- Willingness to attend meetings, training, and obtain additional certification as requested.
