Material Handler

Day Shift: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Kris Tech Wire is currently seeking a full-time Material Handler to join our growing Production team. The ideal candidate for this position will demonstrate adherence to Kris Tech Wire Values, Mission, and Vision. This position is scheduled for day shift (7:30 AM – 3:30 PM). Overtime is required as needed.

Hourly rate: $18 - $20

Responsibilities:

Primary:

• Stocking - Primarily responsible for the support of the work centers by, efficiently stocking inbound raw material to designated locations in a timely manner.
• Order Filling – Primarily responsible for the support of the work centers by efficiently picking completed Sales Orders located in all order filling zones and labeling each carton in a manner which promotes ease of identification and scanning.

Secondary: As time permits

• Receiving – Responsible for the support of the warehouse/dock by efficiently scanning, receiving, and staging inbound merchandise accurately and in a timely manner.
• Loading – Responsible for the support of the warehouse/dock by efficiently sorting, scanning, staging, and wrapping completed orders. Material Handler also checks orders and ensures the product is loaded and checked in the proper delivery sequence.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
• Experience: Warehouse: 1-3 years (Highly preferred)

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills – attention to detail.

Physical Requirements:

• The ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• The ability to lift to 50 pounds regularly.
• The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
