Wire Transfer Specialist

We are currently seeking applicants for a Wire Transfer Specialist.
Qualified Candidates will be responsible for:
- Daily processing of all domestic and international incoming wire transfers
- Daily processing of domestic and international outgoing wire transfers including bank and mortgage division wire transfer requests
- Coordination and/or posting of wire transfer transactions to correlate with wire transfer requests.
- Maintain incoming and outgoing wire transfer logs and records in compliance with the record retention requirements of Bank Secrecy Act
- Save and retain all wire transfer documents into the document retention system in accordance with record retention policy.
- Maintain a current list of bank personnel authorized to initiate wire transfer requests.
- Provide training (at least annually) for wire transfer personnel.
- Enforce and review Wire Transfer Policy
- Enforce, maintain, and update Wire Transfer Procedures as needed.
Candidates must also have knowledge in:
- Keep informed of new developments or changes in wire transfer system or regulations affecting wire transfer process.
- Communicate and handle any research regarding wire transfers.
- Assist with processing of QwickRate CDs, including opening and closing of accounts.
- Attend seminars that further knowledge, improve process, and promote new ideas.
- Serve as backup and support other operations employees as necessary.
- Exemplify commitment to the vision, mission, and core values of the Bank.
- Other Projects/Duties as assigned by manager or department head.
Minimum qualifications are:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Three to four years of banking experience and customer service strongly desired.
- Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and e-mail software and use of the internet.
- Proficiency in wire transfer software
- Analytical skills
This position reports to the Operations Manager.
