The Inside Sales Manager will be the primary contact regarding all aspects of customer requirements for all functional areas in Liberty Engineered Wire Products to ensure that high customer service standards are maintained. Directly supervise Inside Sales personnel.
Essential duties and responsibilities: Manages Inside Sales functions for Liberty Engineered Wire Products. Ensures the integrity and accuracy of open order files. Responsible for the accuracy and maintenance of customer resource and master files. Ensures LEWP maintains high customer service standards company-wide. Primary contact for all other functional departments (credit, quality, production planning, shipping, etc.) for planning, execution and problem resolution of customer requirements. Provides operational and strategic input into Wire Products short, mid-term and long-range planning. Primary office contact for investigating, resolving and approving customer quality and pricing claims. Evaluates, recommends and implements changes to customer service personnel responsibilities as appropriate. Evaluates, recommends and implements changes to customer service processes (call handling, price quoting, non-standard products/pricing, claims). Collaborates with production planning and sales management to determine and execute product allocation decisions as needed. Travels to attend key customer trade shows and business meetings as required. Leads (with sales management) broad price change implementations. Performs analysis of business using reporting metrics available.
Supervisory responsibilities: Directly supervises Liberty Engineered Wire Products Inside Sales Representatives.
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education and/or experience: Bachelor's Degree with one to two years related experience and/or training. Will consider five or more years of sales or related supervisory experience in lieu of a degree.
Language skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups.
Mathematical skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer skills: Must be capable of using personal computers and Microsoft Office software. Experience with Epicore. Must be capable of learning to use the current business system.
Other skills and abilities: Attention to detail and flexibility a must. Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload. Must be capable of working effectively with all levels within the organization.
Other qualifications: Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal and analytical skills. Assertive, self-starter with positive attitude. Strong leadership qualities in order to supervise Inside Sales Representatives.
