Women's Athletics Director directs all facets of a university/college's women's athletic program, including intramural and intercollegiate sports. Manages the entire women's coaching staff. Being a Women's Athletics Director schedules use of facilities, transportation, and sporting events. Also responsible for fundraising, publicity, ticket pricing and distribution, and purchase of new equipment. Additionally, Women's Athletics Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Women's Athletics Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     Job Summary:

    Provide shelter services for those who are experiencing homelessness. Develop resources and formulate case plans that promote moving towards self-sufficiency.

    Intake Process:

    • Completes an initial needs assessment through the SPERO case management intake and acts upon critical needs appropriately and immediately.

    Case plans:

    • Develops a comprehensive client-driven case plan with both short-term and long-term goals
    • Monitors progress towards goals in regularly scheduled weekly sessions
    • Evaluates and adjusts case plans as needed and provides written warnings with consequences if satisfactory progress is not being met
    • Empowers clients to become involved in their own planning and goal setting
    • Refers clients to appropriate resources to assist with meeting goals

    Client Files

    • Maintains client files to include conversations, warnings, progress towards goals, and documentation of any incidents. Report critical incidents immediately to the director of case management so that they can be staffed and resolved

    Case Manager Expectations

    Teamwork and Collaboration:

    • Works in collaboration with program and all other agency staff to facilitate a team environment
    • Participates in Homeless Services team meetings and commits to group decisions
    • Role models effective team behaviors
    • Demonstrates effective communication skills in building relationships with all staff and clients.
    • Creates good working relationships with local welfare administrators and other area service providers and support groups to facilitate access to area resources for the clients.

    Job Requirements:

    • Computer skills including Microsoft Word with the ability to learn new programs.
    • Experience in Human Services and with a variety of populations (mentally ill, disabled, substance users, etc.)
    • Ability to solve problems, make decisions, resolve conflicts, and Listen.
    • Ability to deal calmly in crisis situations.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to be compassionate and firm and always maintain confidentiality.
    • Knowledge of community resources.
    • Ability to be flexible.
    • Bilingual & biliterate English/Spanish

    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

    Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 40 per week
