We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join our team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious and visually appealing dishes while maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. Our chef needs to have the ability to manage multiple, simultaneous processes —from dough and ingredient prep to cooking pizza in our wood-fired oven. Our desired chef is dependable, energetic, motivating, and can handle working in a fast-paced and innovative environment, making our excellent and tasty pizzas. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently while still being a part of a larger team.

Duties:

-Previous experience in a food service or culinary role, preferably in pizza preparation or a similar field is a plus

-Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations

-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders simultaneously

-Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately

-Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively

-Prepare and cook pizza according to established recipes, standards, and customer requests

-Operate oven and other kitchen equipment

-Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency

-Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner

-Checks quality of pizzas before they’re served to guests

-Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

-Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment

-Ensures cooking station is sanitized and prepped with necessary tools

-Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, ordering as needed

-Monitor food stock levels and replenish ingredients as needed

-Dependable transportation to pickup specific local ingredients when needed from supplier

-A team player with good communication skills

-Patient with an ability to stay positive under pressure

Requirements:

Saturday 10am-9pm

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
