Wordprocessing Supervisor jobs in Scranton, PA
Wordprocessing Supervisor supervises the daily operations of the word processing division. Plans, assigns, and reviews word processing work to ensure timely completion. Being a Wordprocessing Supervisor is responsible for the purchase, usage, maintenance and storage of the sophisticated word processing equipment. May require an associate degree or its equivalent. Additionally, Wordprocessing Supervisor typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Wordprocessing Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision. Qualifications:
- Ability to lead and supervise.
- Ability to be standing and/or walking for extended periods of time.
- Previous supervisory experience required.
- A strong work ethic
- The ability to work alone or within a team is a must.
