Workers' Compensation Claims Manager manages accountabilities in the administration of first and third party worker's compensation claims. Manages domestic and/or international claim management strategies critical to the organization's success. Being a Workers' Compensation Claims Manager is responsible for reporting, investigation, and analysis; litigation management; resolution/outcome management; and the delivery of claim information. Manages litigated and moderately complex claims and is entrusted with significant settlement authority. Additionally, Workers' Compensation Claims Manager creates and develops relationships with claims adjusters, insurers, outside legal counsel, and other claims related parties. Directs workers' compensation claims policies and procedures within the claim information analysis. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Workers' Compensation Claims Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be a Workers' Compensation Claims Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Title: Assistant DFAC Manager
    Reports To: DFAC Manager  
    Under the supervision of the DFAC Manager and Area Manager, the Assistant DFAC Manager is responsible for assisting in overseeing the daily operations of the DFAC.
    EXPERIENCE:
    • Minimum two years working as a manager or assistant manager with a major culinary institution, a large institutional food service operation or the military.
    • Demonstrate knowledge and competency in managing food services, labor, budget, and other resources.
    SKILLS:
    • Good management and customer service skills. 
    • Good oral and written communication skills.
    • Ability to interpret government contracts and make appropriate application.
    • Communicate with employees, customers, and vendors in the running of the facility. 
    • Assist in determining the necessary staffing levels required to smoothly run the facility. 
    • Must be able to monitor staff, walk the facility and inspect foods, employees, and general set-up.
    EDUCATION:
    • Associate or bachelor’s degree in business management, hospitality management, or equivalent is preferred. 
    •  Must be ServSafe certified.  Must have solid work ethics.
    GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Provide management oversight of the dining facility. 
    •  Ensure contract compliance and performance.

    SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Coordinate cooperation and support between dining facilities, if applicable, including cross-utilization of labor resources.
    • Ensure compliance with the Building/Equipment Cleaning Plans.
    • Physically inspects all dining facilities on a scheduled basis, in coordination with the DFAC Manager and QCM inspection schedules.
    • Establish and maintain a close working relationship with customers, supervisors and employees. 
    • Maintain budget controls for inventory, supplies, equipment ordering, and labor cost.
    • Ensure work schedules is in accordance with contract requirements.
    • Contribute input for the food ordering process
    • Assist in training to all employees.
    • Provide mid-year and annual performance reviews.
    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
    • The person in this position needs to frequently move within the facility.  
    • Operates computer and other office productivity machinery such as calculator, copy machine, fax machine, and printer.
    • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
    • Stands, walks, inspects, and reassigns staff as necessary to meet facility requirements.
    • Bending, squatting, and reaching.
    Additional Responsibilities:
    • Adhere to the RHFS rules and regulations set forth in the employee handbook.
    • Comply with all HACCP standards.

    Minimum Hiring Standards:
    • Must be at least 18 years of age at time of pre-employment screening
    • Must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process; including drug screen and background investigation and meet Company standards.
    • Must posses a Valid Drivers license and pass Company Standard for MVR check
