Workers' Compensation Manager jobs in Vermont
Workers' Compensation Manager is responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing a company's workers' compensation program. Implements all matters of the program, including claim investigations, settlements, and litigation. Being a Workers' Compensation Manager establishes standards and procedures for all matters relating to workers' compensation. Responsible for finding an insurance provider that meets organizational goals of employee coverage and cost effectiveness. Additionally, Workers' Compensation Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of unit/department. The Workers' Compensation Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be a Workers' Compensation Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required. The Network Compensation Manager is responsible for the management of Compensation at the University of Vermont Health Network (UVMHN). Provides consultation to UVMHN management in all areas of compensation including organizational structure, job development and evaluation, career ladders, special compensation programs, compensation issues, and policy interpretation. EXPERIENCE:
Five or more years of experience in human resources and compensation administration with exposure to large organizational settings. Proven knowledge of employee compensation plans and governing regulations. Progressive leadership experience is preferred.
