The Addiction Treatment Counselor/Case Manager acts as a liaison between patient/family and service delivery personnel to ensure patients are effectively evaluated and treated. Coordinates the overall plan of care for patients with alcohol or drug problems from admission to discharge. Being an Addiction Treatment Counselor/Case Manager typically reports to the head of a unit/department. Works with management to maintain and improve overall quality of services.
