The Agile Scrum Product Owner collaborates with stakeholders to define product requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria and to produce a clearly defined backlog. Translates and communicates the product vision to Agile development teams utilizing the Scrum framework. Being an Agile Scrum Product Owner acts as a bridge between stakeholders and development teams to remove roadblocks, resolve conflicts, and decide actions. Champions solutions and prioritizes requirements to deliver best value to the customer and the business. In addition, Agile Scrum Product Owner is responsible for project budget oversight. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically requires Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and/or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO). Typically reports to a director. The Agile Scrum Product Owner manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Working as an Agile Scrum Product Owner typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.
