The Assisted Living Licensed Administrator develops strategic plans for maximizing occupancy and achieving profitability. Oversees all activities of an assisted living program, including marketing, census development, and community relations. Being an Assisted Living Licensed Administrator may require a bachelor's degree in related area. Ensures that resident services meet quality standards and that the facility operates within budget while maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations. In addition, Assisted Living Licensed Administrator requires state administrator license. Typically reports to senior management. The Assisted Living Licensed Administrator manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Working as an Assisted Living Licensed Administrator typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.
