The Behavioral Assessment Specialist designs, implements and evaluates behavior intervention plans. Performs psychological/behavioral assessments for assigned patients. Being a Behavioral Assessment Specialist typically reports to the head of a unit/department. Provides ongoing training to clinical staff in the implementation of behavior programs. In addition, Behavioral Assessment Specialist requires a master's degree in Behavior Analysis or related field. May require certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
