Plans, analyzes, designs and modifies EHR (electronic health record) software applications, including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support the implementation of one or more software modules. Being a Cerner Certified Application Analyst Intermediate typically requires a bachelor's degree in a related area. May be expected to write documentation describing program development, logic, coding, and corrections. In addition, Cerner Certified Application Analyst Intermediate requires certification in one or more dedicated modules, such as Scheduling, Emergency Room, Patient Registration, or other medical specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Being a Cerner Certified Application Analyst Intermediate work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.
