Being a Civil/Construction/Structural Engineer III may also assist in inspecting aging infrastructure or overseeing improvement projects. Responsibilities also include estimating costs, estimating personnel and material needs, preparing proposals, and establishing completion dates. In addition, Civil/Construction/Structural Engineer III requires a bachelor's degree in engineering. May require a Professional Engineer License (PE). Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Being a Civil/Construction/Structural Engineer III work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.
