The Construction and Building Senior Project Manager designs and implements project plans. Responsible for all phases of a construction project. Being a Construction and Building Senior Project Manager prepares project status reports and works to ensure plans adhere to contract specifications. Communicates directly with contractors/designers concerning project cost, staffing and scheduling. In addition, Construction and Building Senior Project Manager requires a bachelor's degree of engineering. Typically reports to senior manager. The Construction and Building Senior Project Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Working as a Construction and Building Senior Project Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.
