The Dialysis Operations Director organizes and coordinates inpatient and outpatient dialysis services and operations. Directs the staff and programs of the renal dialysis department. Being a Dialysis Operations Director monitors quality of care, compliance, and data collection and leads quality improvement initiatives. Develops and introduces approved standards and guidelines for dialysis operations and programs. In addition, Dialysis Operations Director oversees the professional development of staff and educational support programs for patients. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Dialysis Operations Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Working as a Dialysis Operations Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.
