Job Description

The Disaster Recovery Technical Analyst performs risk management analysis and documents disaster recovery plans. Implements and supports the policies, procedures, and programs that ensure the recovery, security, and integrity of company data, databases, information systems, and technology in the event of a disruption or unanticipated disaster. Being a Disaster Recovery Technical Analyst develops and executes testing processes to validate the disaster recovery plans and identify the plans' weaknesses and failure points. Identifies and secures the necessary off-site resources required for the organization's resumption plan. In addition, Disaster Recovery Technical Analyst confirms all action plans are documented, communicated, and understood by all stakeholders in the organization. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Being a Disaster Recovery Technical Analyst occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Working as a Disaster Recovery Technical Analyst typically requires 2 -4 years of related experience.
