Equipment Maintenance Crew Manager Salary in Illinois

The Equipment Maintenance Crew Manager implements and sets priorities for the preventive maintenance program which includes greasing and lubricating, replacing filters in air and hydraulic systems, changing belts or drive equipment, checking product handling equipment for wear or damage, inspecting crane cables and hooks and checking hydraulic and pneumatic systems for spills or leaks. Supervises a mechanical maintenance crew involved in the maintenance and installation of mechanical equipment and systems. Being an Equipment Maintenance Crew Manager monitors employee compliance with safety procedures. Selects, trains, evaluates, disciplines, motivates and ensures safety of the mechanical maintenance team.
