The Financial Statements and Reporting Manager ensures that reports, filings and documentation complies with company's regulations, professional standards, and SEC and GAAP reporting guidelines. Responsible for managing the preparation and distribution of periodic financial statements for external use. Being a Financial Statements and Reporting Manager may assist with the preparation of materials for board or shareholders. Manages the financial reporting staff May work with external auditors to provide requested information. In addition, Financial Statements and Reporting Manager requires a bachelor's degree of Accounting or Finance. Typically reports to top management. The Financial Statements and Reporting Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. Working as a Financial Statements and Reporting Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required.
