Supervises employees responsible for the preparation and distribution of annual and/or quarterly financial statements for external use. Being a Financial Statements and Reporting Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree. May serve as a liaison with external auditors. In addition, Financial Statements and Reporting Supervisor typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Financial Statements and Reporting Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes.
