The Graphical User Interface (GUI) Programmer II translates design mockups and wireframes into code for website and web-based application UI. Develops user interfaces for websites and web-based applications. Being a Graphical User Interface (GUI) Programmer II identifies new technologies that can add additional visual display capabilities and enhance site usability. Designs prototypes; writes and tests code for new or existing applications. In addition, Graphical User Interface (GUI) Programmer II supports backend integration and maintains graphic standards and branding throughout the UI. Has knowledge of commonly used languages and frameworks, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, and Bootstrap. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a project leader or manager. Being a Graphical User Interface (GUI) Programmer II occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Working as a Graphical User Interface (GUI) Programmer II typically requires 2 -4 years of related experience.
