The Loss Prevention Agent enforces security measures and procedures, observes areas that are vulnerable to theft and identifies occurrences. Monitors premises to reduce losses due to theft and fraud. Being a Loss Prevention Agent collects, records, and maintains loss and incident data in appropriate format and system. Ensures employees understand and follow policies and procedures for loss prevention and cash handling. In addition, Loss Prevention Agent may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Being a Loss Prevention Agent possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job.
