The Manager - Terminal (Large) directs loading, unloading, monitoring, and maintenance activities. Manages the operations of a large storage/distribution terminal (bulk, package, or both) associated with a plant. Being a Manager - Terminal (Large) utilizes all required safety policies, regulations, procedures and equipment to ensure secure and safe operations. Ensures all delivery schedules are met and communicates any changes or delays to shippers and customers. In addition, Manager - Terminal (Large) prepares all required reports of activity and metrics. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of unit/department. The Manager - Terminal (Large) typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.
