Job Description

The Materials/Inventory Planner I documents overall material need, including all codes, brands, and contact information necessary to process orders. Reviews blueprints and product specifications to accurately determine amount of materials needed. Being a Materials/Inventory Planner I requires ability to understand engineering documents and work closely with members of the engineering team. Adjusts amounts for existing inventory and for orders of conventional sizes. In addition, Materials/Inventory Planner I requires a high school degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Being a Materials/Inventory Planner I may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job.
