The Registered Nurse (RN), Dialysis reviews patient histories, administers medications, and performs dialysis treatments. Provides professional nursing care to assigned patients with kidney conditions that require dialysis treatment. Being a Registered Nurse (RN), Dialysis monitors the patient during dialysis, records observations in patient medical record, and reports any changes in condition to physician as needed. Ensures dialysis machine and all products used during treatment are properly prepared and meet quality standards. In addition, Registered Nurse (RN), Dialysis requires graduation from an approved nursing program. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Requires a state license to practice.
