Conducts analysis, pricing and risk assessment to estimate financial outcomes. Being a Senior Consultant Actuary incumbents have achieved an Associate, Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation and may be pursuing a Fellow, Society of Actuaries (FSA) designation. Develops probability tables regarding fire, natural disasters, death, unemployment, etc. based on analysis of statistical data and other pertinent information. In addition, Senior Consultant Actuary requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Senior Consultant Actuary is a specialist on complex technical and business matters.
