The University Food Services Associate Director implements and maintains food service policies in dining halls. Manages one or several areas of institutional food service and resources. Being an University Food Services Associate Director may also plan and coordinate special theme events. Coordinates work schedules to ensure appropriate staffing levels and may be responsible for purchasing supplies. In addition, University Food Services Associate Director may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a food service director. The University Food Services Associate Director manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. Working as an University Food Services Associate Director typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required.
