Aerospace Engineer V designs and supervises the construction of aircraft and associated parts such as airframe, auxiliaries, communication equipment, controls, fuselage, and powerplant. Analyzes results of stress tests on various craft and missile parts and conducts research to determine flight characteristics. Being an Aerospace Engineer V may have concentration in a single aerospace discipline such as: flight mechanics, guidance and control systems, propulsion systems, robotics, or aerodynamics.
