Assists patients in dressing, bathing, or eating, and teaches assisted living techniques, such as using a cane or walker. Being a Certified Nursing Assistant - Hospice administers oxygen and maintains oxygen equipment. Collects non-invasive body fluid specimens and gathers vital signs. Additionally, Certified Nursing Assistant - Hospice documents patient interactions as needed. Requires a high school diploma. Requires certified nursing assistant (CNA).
