Ensures company visibility is established in the area and promotes relationships with groups, agencies and organizations in the community to identify lending and other business development opportunities. Being a Community Development Manager I explores and evaluates the current and future credit needs of the community and develops a strong understanding of the local issues and needs. Actively monitors public programs that support community development initiatives. Additionally, Community Development Manager I initiates policy changes or enhancements to ensure compliance with Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and other regulations. Makes recommendations to increase lending activity. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management.
