Division Budget Manager directs and coordinates activities of personnel responsible for formulation, monitoring and presentation of division budget. Directs compilation of data based on statistical studies and analysis of past and current years to prepare division budget and to justify funds requested. Being a Division Budget Manager reviews annual and intermediate division budget periodically to analyze trends affecting division budget needs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Division Budget Manager typically reports to a head of unit/department. The Division Budget Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Division Budget Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.
