Electrical Engineering Supervisor III supervises a team of electrical engineers who design, develop, and test all aspects of electrical components, equipment, and machinery with full authority. Applies principles and techniques of electrical engineering to accomplish goals. Being an Electrical Engineering Supervisor III evaluates and coordinates the daily work of staff. May work with other engineering teams to increase efficiency, production quality, and volume. Additionally, Electrical Engineering Supervisor III may require a bachelor's degree of electrical engineering or its equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Electrical Engineering Supervisor III manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Electrical Engineering Supervisor III typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.
