Typically is required to pass periodic physical ability tests. May require an associate degree in fire science or equivalent. Requires Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT) certification. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Fire Fighter independently performs a wide range of complex duties under general guidance from supervisors. Has gained full proficiency in a broad range of activities related to the job.
