Home Health Manager manages a multidisciplinary team of nurses, therapists, and aides that provide professional services to home care patients. Coordinates clinician schedules and assigns clinicians to patients based on the frequency and expected duration of prescribed treatments and therapies. Being a Home Health Manager monitors utilization, productivity, and tracks patient outcomes. Ensures compliance with agency policies and procedures. Additionally, Home Health Manager typically requires a bachelor's degree. May require an RN license. Typically reports to a director. The Home Health Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions.
