Job Description

Medical Lab Technician performs the most basic and routine laboratory procedures under the direction of a certified lab technician. May perform other non-technical tasks to support lab operations such as stocking supplies, sterilizing instruments, and preparing culture media. Being a Medical Lab Technician follows all required privacy and safety procedures and standards. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Additionally, Medical Lab Technician typically reports to a supervisor. The Medical Lab Technician works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area.
