Job Description

Renal Dialysis Director directs the staff and programs of the renal dialysis department. Organizes and coordinates dialysis services provided and oversees operations. Being a Renal Dialysis Director manages all inpatient and outpatient dialysis services. Develops and introduces approved standards and guidelines for renal dialysis and programs and ensures they are within budget. Additionally, Renal Dialysis Director oversees the study and treatment of professional and technical hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, drug overdoses, and plasmapheresis. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Renal Dialysis Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Renal Dialysis Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.
