Being a Speech and Language Pathologist - Home Care plans, directs, or conducts rehabilitative treatment programs to restore communicative efficiency of individuals with communication problems of organic and nonorganic etiology. Speech disorders treated include stuttering, voice disorders, articulation, injury, and problems associated with other speech impairments. Additionally, Speech and Language Pathologist - Home Care requires a master's degree of speech-language pathology. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
