Top Community Health Executive focuses on advancing local, state and national health advocacy efforts. Responsible for overseeing community-based health programs aimed at the prevention of disease and promotion of health. Being a Top Community Health Executive determines community health initiatives to pursue and directs best practices implementation. Participates in and approves grant proposals and monitors overall use of grant funds. Additionally, Top Community Health Executive oversees all community health programs from planning and design through implementation and evaluation. Typically requires a master's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a top management.
