Being an Utility Person cleans and maintains tools, work areas, and vehicles utilized by crews. May perform basic meter connection, reading, and maintenance tasks. Additionally, Utility Person follows all safety regulations and procedures. Work is performed outdoors and indoors. Typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Utility Person works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area.
