1-800-GOT-JUNK? is the world's largest junk removal service and is seeking Truck Team Members (also known as TTMs) who would like to help us continue to build a world-class brand in New York City! We serve Manhattan, the surrounding boroughs, and Westchester County.

HIRING IMMEDIATELY!

Truck Team Member: General Labor, Driver & Customer Service
Full-Time (4-days on 3-days off). We operate Monday through Saturday and never on Sundays!
Pay: $18-$25/hr (base + profit share and tips)

As junk removal is considered an essential service, 1-800-GOT-JUNK? has adjusted its service model to a “No Contact Junk Removal Service”. We take measures to ensure our team members have access to the recommended precautions and enforce our safety focus areas of healthy teams, physical distance, safety equipment and training.

Please Note: The job starts and ends at our office in the South Bronx (near 138th Street and Grand Concourse). Accessible to 4/5/6 trains.

What you'll be doing:

• WOWing customers with exceptional service and a great attitude
• Driving to local residences and businesses to remove their unwanted items.
• Following the safety training and wearing all provided gear (uniform, safety gloves & boots).
• You’ll remove, load and sort items so we can dispose of, recycle or donate (we’re committed to reducing waste) responsibly.
• You’ll ensure the job order is completed as required and offer opportunities for additional disposal services.
• You’ll work efficiently with the team to stay on schedule

Qualifications & Requirements:

• You have a great attitude, are reliable & hardworking
• Be at least 21+ years of age (for insurance purposes)
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no DUIs)
• Commercial driving experience is a definite plus although a CDL is not required.
• Be drug free - we are a drug free workplace
• Be able to work full days (i.e. up to 9.5-10.5 hours on days with overtime pay) 
• Not afraid of hard physical work and a challenge.
• Able to lift at least 50 lbs + repeatedly (junk can include appliances, furniture, electronics and much more)
• We are looking for people with previous experience as/with drivers, laborers, haulers, customer service, fitness, cooks, mechanics, and hospitality. We are willing to train happy, hardworking individuals!
