About the Role:

The Sales Operations Specialist will partner with the Commercial Organization and will focus predominately on ensuring Commercial new hires are set up for success with our systems, processes, and tools. This role is a critical part of the team during this foundational stage and instrumental in improving the overall onboarding experience for our Commercial new hires. Focus on improving the onboarding experience, managing the day to day operations, and streamlining communication across the Commercial teams, and other functional departments, this position will report to the Director, Sales Effectiveness. Additionally, the Sales Operations Specialist will help to ensure accurate and timely implementation of Sales deliverables.

What you will be doing:

  • Partner with key stakeholders to develop, implement and facilitate the first 30-60-90-day orientation program
  • Manage all logistics of the onboarding process ensuring each new hire has an excellent experience
  • Solicit feedback from new hires on trainings and implement revisions as needed
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve on current onboarding process
  • Act as the initial point of contact for new Commercial employees
  • Coordinate with all departments and all levels of management to ensure that new employees have what they need for day 1 (i.e. equipment, email account, log in credentials, welcome swag bag, business cards, etc)
  • Follow up on status of all ordered items, create/update the tracking log and notify the new employee and their hiring manager of all information as it becomes available
  • Coordinate and confirm the scheduling of training with the Sales Training & Education Department
  • Manage surveys of new employees and monitor progress at various check in points through the first 90 days of employment
  • Perform various system set ups for new employees and be able to respond to basic inquiries regarding those systems
  • Work on new and existing projects assigned by management
  • Perform analysis to identify opportunities for improvement or answer key questions as they arise
  • Work with sales and marketing to simplify, streamline, eliminate and/or automate manual or inefficient processes

  • Have experience and a strong passion for facilitation group learning, teaching or similar skill set to help employees be set up for success in their new role
  • Demonstrates strong follow-through on tasks; can take initiative when they see something that needs to be done
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and creative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build rapport quickly across teams
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite of products; Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Acute attention to detail and ability to work on complex projects with general direction and minimal guidance
  • High level of professionalism, and excellent time management and organizational ability
  • Ability to multitask and meet constant deadlines in a fast pace environment

Nice to have skills & background:

  • 1-3 years of experience either in onboarding/account management/customer support/customer ops
  • Previous HR, administrative support or customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong technical knowledge in the use of software applications, databases, spreadsheets
  • Experience in curriculum design and/or program management is a plus
