Position Summary

 

The Supervisor will assist the trainers in developing and conducting product training programs for employees.

 

Essential Responsibilities, includes but are not limited to

 

  • Supervisors supports trainers and confers with management, supervisors, and employees to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training and to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations, business initiatives, and technologies and improve on training or processes.
  • Supervises training schedule with the hiring and training demands of 24 Hr Safety and customers
  • Supervises the formulation of teaching outline and determine instructional methods such as individual training, group instruction, demonstrations, conferences, meetings, and workshops.
  • Supervises the selection or development of teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials and reference works
  • Assists and supervises training sessions covering specified areas such as on-the-job training, refresher training, etc.
  • Assists and supervises testing trainees both internal and external to measure progress and to evaluate effectiveness of training
  • Reports on progress of employees under guidance during training periods
  • Assists and supervises employees with problems concerning "how to" perform specific tasks related to their positions
  • Assists and supervises suggestions for improving work procedures and processes
  • Oversees and maintains trainee personnel records and makes corrective action suggestions
  • Assists and supervises, developing strong relationships with internal customers to develop course materials and receive feedback
  • Inputs and upkeeps all necessary training records in any/all software, etc. (manual and/or electronic)

Qualifications

 

  • High School Diploma required. Associates Degree or higher preferred.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Two plus years medical surveillance training experience.
  • Four-year supervisory experience
  • Experience training CPR/respiratory protection, Fit-Testing, PFT and/or MEQ required.
  • Must have a familiarity with OSHA regulations for industrial training.
  • Strong computer skills
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working with little to no direction
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Current TWIC card holder a plus
  • Clean driving record and ability to drive company vehicle
  • Willingness to travel a must.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

 

This is a full time, direct hire employment opportunity.  The employee must be willing to work weekends and holidays as needed. Overnight travel likely. Additional hours may be needed.
