What We’re Looking For:

In a virtual environment intended to support curriculum-related questions, "Learning Assistants" play an integral role in building trust and executing on engagement with students to "assist" their "learning" experience. Learning Assistants have an opportunity to play a more virtual-friendly role that directly relates to the bootcamp journey and add meaning to our pedagogy of learning in a virtual capacity.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

  • Prepare and ​stay up to date​ with specific curriculum expectations and core concepts.
  • Mastery of the curriculum material of the assigned program.
  • Stakeholder for student satisfaction scores as it pertains to support and learning KPIs
  • Stakeholder for direct reports performance
  • Communicate effectively with other departments as it relates to student service concerns.
  • Handle escalations and provide support for Lead Learning Assistants
  • Conduct weekly coaching and review sessions with direct reports
  • Coach and Mentor Lead Learning Assistants and Learning Assista
  • Additional Requirements include those outlined in the ​Learning Assistant Job Description and ​Lead Learning Assistant Job Descriptions

Things That Should Be In Your Background:

  • Minimum of 1 year of work experience
  • Experience with, or have graduated from, a Boot Camp Program
  • Previous experience teaching technical topics, or experience as a Lead Learning Assistant.

Other Attributes That Will Help You In This Role:

  • Share your own professional experiences and industry insight with the students.
  • Engage with students through structured outreach as necessary.
  • Support our students individually as they go through an emotional roller coaster.
  • Be able to infuse empathy, support, encouragement, and fun into the student experience
