▶ About This Opportunity

Lead a group of 6 - 10 Merchandise Accounting Clerks, and or 3 - 6 Senior Merchandise Accounting Clerks. Trains and develops staff and ensures adherence to policies and procedures to facilitate timely and accurate accounting.

Responsibilities

• Answer clerk questions, directing work, training Verify work output of clerks, including audits Prepare Trial balances and complete end of month verification.
• Complete Cash Purchase verification, journal entries and other manual processes.
• Process changeovers.
• Participate inmeetings.

Qualifications

• Education: Associates/2 Yr Degree.
• Experience: 4 to 5 years, Accounting and HR.
• Proficient working knowledge of Micro Office Suite.Proficient working knowledge of Oracle.
• Proficient knowledge of Business Objects.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills.
• Effective employee relations and management skills.
